Board of Directors Positions and Responsibilities

President

Attend and chair all MSC board meetings (max 4 -6 meetings/year)

Submit agenda items to Secretary and review final agenda before distribution.

Review Board meeting minutes before distribution.

Create and present Annual Report.

Oversee all other Board Positions.

Vice President

Attend all board meetings (max 4 -6 meetings/year)

Assist President and other Board Members with responsibilities (if required) .

Prepare to take over as President (if required).

Secretary

Schedule and book board meetings including verifying locations (max 4 -6 meetings/year).

Attend all board meetings (max 4 -6 meetings/year)

Compile and distribute meeting agendas with input from other Board members.

Record board meeting minutes and distribute to board members (within two days after meetings).

Registrar

Attend all board meetings (max 4 - 6 meetings/year)

Co-ordinate registrations.

Liaising with the community membership people.

System administrator for online registration.

Treasurer

Attend all board meetings (max 4 -6 meetings/year)

Manage finances including BOD and liability insurance for the MSC.

Prepare budget report prior to each board meeting and year-end summary

Soccer Coordinator

Attend all board meetings (max 4 - 6 meetings/year)

Review and confirm field renewals.

Submit budget to Treasurer.

Create game schedule for the season.

Coordinate and arrange medal/photo packages prior to last game.
